We’re excited to finally start our "Pay What You Can Community Mending Program"!

Our goal is simple: help keep good clothing in use while making basic mending more accessible to our community. Repairs are completed by sewing students and avid sewers who are volunteering their time and talents to help others.

This is a BETA program, so we are starting with simple repairs such as, button replacement, seam repairs, and other minor mending.

We have a recommended contribution for each repair, but you choose what you’re able to give. And if you’re not able to contribute right now, that’s okay too.

We’ll also repurpose materials whenever we can, giving scraps and other useful materials a second life, while keeping costs down.

Have something that needs a little mending? Bring it in and we’ll see if it’s a good fit for the program!

After a full day at the store, then heading over to the fair to admire all the amazing sewing entries and choose the recipients of our Special Award gift cards, Jordyn still had enough energy to come home and sew some more!

This time... with a little supervision.

Seeing so many talented kids sharing their creativity at the fair gives us so much hope for the future of sewing and crafting.

Look what Peggy created with these beautiful preprinted unicorn panels we found tucked away in one of Char's bins!

Peggy hand-colored each panel, then finished one with a colorful scrap fabric border and transformed the other into an adorable pillow cover. She has one more that she is turning into a tote bag.

What a wonderful way to bring these vintage treasures to life!

We still have several of these panels left, and we're thinking they would make a fun class. Would you be interested?

It's Swap Weekend!

Clean out your craft room and bring your extra fabric, yarn, notions, patterns, and craft supplies to our Monthly Fabric & Craft Swap!
This month's donations will be going to SCRAPS.

Look what we came into this morning!

There's nothing quite like pulling up to the store and finding our amazing landlords' crew hard at work installing a brand-new sign for us!

We sure hope everyone is staying safe out there!

This smoke has been awful, and we're hoping for clearer skies soon. If you don't have to be out, it's a great day to stay inside, take it easy, and spend some time with a favorite project.

Why not use the extra indoor time to create something for the **Benton County Fair**? We're proud to sponsor a **Special Award** in both the **Adult** and **Juvenile Apparel** contests, and we'd love to see your creativity on display.
