Sometimes I look around The Purpose Room and think… only God could have written this story 🥹
What started as an idea to create Christian clothing has become so much more than a clothing store.
When we opened these doors, we didn’t know exactly what this place would become. We knew we wanted to honor God with it. We knew we wanted people to walk in and feel welcomed. And we knew that whatever we built, we wanted Jesus to remain at the center of it.
But God has done things here that we could have never planned.
People have walked in to shop and ended up staying to talk about Jesus. We’ve prayed with people right here in the store. People have prayed over us. We’ve worshiped together, poured into our youth, blessed families in our community, and watched complete strangers become familiar faces.
The Purpose Room has given us an opportunity to meet people we may have never met otherwise. Every person who walks through these doors has a story. Every conversation matters. Every opportunity to encourage someone, pray with someone, or simply remind them that God sees them matters.
I don’t know everything God has planned for this little store in St. Cloud. I don’t know what it will look like a year from now or where He will take it next.
But I do know that I want to steward what He has placed in our hands well.
