First week at Flamingo! It’s been a busy one! Got checked in, did 2 half days at the parks, a chill day, a shopping day and today was traditions. I start at my location on Sunday and I’m very excited!

I’m going back!!! I got accepted back into the college program! I am so excited to be going back but also nervous as I don’t know my role yet😅 my program starts on October 9th and I cannot be more excited to be going back. Wish me luck!

Me and the fam are going to an event called jubilee of trees. It’s a local event where people decorate trees that are auctioned off for charity. I can’t wait to see what the trees look like this year!

Many of you may not know this but it is the 5th anniversary of the US largest mass shooting in Las Vegas. This picture was taken a year before the shooting at the same festival
Route 91 was a festival that me and my family had gone to for two years and were planning on a third but sadly the tickets sold out. I think this was the universe’s way of saying we shouldn’t be there but we didn’t all listen. My dad, brother, and sister-in-law were able to buy scalper tickets for Sunday so they could all see Jason Aldean. I was upset as this concert was something we typically did as a whole family so I felt extremely left out as I had to work that day nor could I afford the ticket. To make me feel better my mom offered to stay home with me. We think this may have saved my brother and sister-in-laws lives. My 8 month old niece was also at the concert and had my mother gone likely my brother and his wife would have been closer to the stage enjoying the concert. Because my mom didn’t go my family stuck together near a lounge to also watch the game. Even after the game they stayed under the cover of this lounge toward the middle of the venue. When they finally understood that the venue was under attack they were able to exit quickly. My dad got separated from my brother and his family and was able to make it to their hotel at the Excalibur. My brother and his family made it to MGM where they stayed with a group of strangers for the night that I will forever be grateful to.

My family was very lucky that night and my heart goes out to everybody that was affected by this tragedy. In Las Vegas darkest hour came a lot of heroes that night. Some I cannot name but heroes nonetheless. I would like to express my gratitude to and to the hospital staff that worked their asses off for days to help the injured. I would also like to thank the people of Las Vegas for waiting hours just to donate blood after the event. I’ve never seen a city rally together like that.
Personally I would like to also thank the for helping heal my family after this event. They made my dad and brother enjoy Vegas again.

Happy !!! I miss the big beauty! Hoping we’ll be together soon for Festival of the Arts! If you have not been you should go! Also if you’ve been following me for a while you know how much I love festival of the arts! I had the best time!
