Well, my car is LOADED! 😂🐦

And let me just say, getting everything in there was a bit of a Tetris game! I’m pretty sure I used every available inch of space. 😆

But somehow, it all fit, and Vintage Sparrow is officially loaded and ready for tomorrow’s market!

There is alot of thrifted and vintage finds packed in this little car, and I can’t wait to unpack it all and see what catches someone’s eye.

My first Southern Utah market is tomorrow, and I’m feeling a little excited, a little nervous, and very grateful to be starting this new adventure.

Now, fingers crossed I can remember how I got it all in there! 😂❤️

The unpacking has officially begun and it is alot 😉

As I’ve been going through boxes and getting ready for my first market here in Southern Utah, I’ve been finding some amazing thrifted treasures that I can’t wait to share with you!

Vintage pieces, unique finds, a few things I completely forgot I had, and lots of those “someone needs this!” treasures that make thrifting so much fun.

It’s making this new adventure with Thrifted Sparrow feel very real!

Well… retirement has definitely been exciting, and so much has happened in just a few short weeks.

As I mentioned, when I retired, I wanted to find something meaningful and enjoyable to keep me busy. Since I’ve always loved shopping, meeting new people, chatting 😉, and discovering unique treasures, I decided to bring back something I enjoyed years ago—a little bit of Green The World. This little pop-up adventure has felt like coming full circle.

I started small with a few pop-ups and farmers markets here in Northern Utah, partnering with my niece Lindsay. We’ve had so much fun meeting all of you, searching for special treasures, creating unique displays, and seeing what makes you smile.

And now… The Vintage Sparrow is taking flight! 🐦

With retirement and a move to Southern Utah, I’m packing up my little shop and taking it with me. I’m excited to see what treasures I find down here, discover new markets and pop-up opportunities, and meet a whole new group of vintage-loving people.

So this isn’t goodbye to the adventure—it’s just the next chapter. ❤️

Stay tuned… The Vintage Sparrow is headed SOUTH! 🐦✨

One last Saturday at the White Barn 🤎

It’s hard to believe we’ve reached the final McFarland Family Farms Farmers Market of the season.

What started as tables full of vintage finds, handmade pieces and a whole lot of figuring-it-out has become one of our favorite parts of the summer.

This Saturday we’ll fill the booth one more time with the things we’ve gathered, restored, stitched and saved for a second story.

A little change of plans this weekend 🤍

While Beth is off getting muddy at a very fun mud run, Vintage Sparrow is popping up a little closer to home!

We’ll be bringing a smaller collection of vintage finds + handmade pieces to the Marriott-Slaterville Garden Market tomorrow evening, Friday, August 21 from 6–8 PM.

It’ll be a scaled-down version of our usual market setup, but still filled with plenty of things we love and think you will too.

Today is National Thrifting Day… and funny enough, we’re not out thrifting. 🤍

Instead, we thought we’d show you what happens after the thrift.

Vintage Sparrow may be something you see at the market, but it started in our own homes. The two of us have very different styles, but we both love mixing thrifted finds with what we already own, changing things with the seasons, and finding new uses for old things.

Because your home doesn’t have to be filled with new things to feel fresh, beautiful or uniquely yours.

We’re not just selling thrifted things. This is how we live. Finding beauty in what already exists and giving it another story.

Two homes. Two different styles. A whole lot of second stories. 🐦🤍.
