We got our huge shipment of yarn! I have been checking it in all day. It is all in boxes in our new side we are expanding to. If you want to come shop the new yarns let me know. I have also uploaded them onto our website. Link is on our bio! I am so excited for our expansion. We are going to have 44 feet wide by 12 feet tall of wall space just for our yarn display. I can’t wait for it to be done. Our Crochet corner is going to be so fun. You can come sit and crochet, knit or embroider while you relax and have snacks and meet some new friends.

Can we talk about this gorgeous color pop queen! Bridget Cunningham 👑👑 Isn’t she gorgeous! She was so nervous about coloring her hair again. She has had a lot of colors not turn out in the past so she has given her hair a rest to get her length back. We only gave her bangs. Her length didn’t need cut even after a fashion color. She is glamorous! I love how a fresh color can turn everything around and a worst day or week can turn around with one hair color turning out how you wanted! Hair day is definitely the best day! I made her a custom color shampoo just for her custom color. She can wear this for at least a year if she wants without needing to change a thing. If she gets bored of pink we can just change her shampoo color and Boom! She can be any color she wants with our needing to pay for another color service. I placed her color internally so as it grows out there won’t be any harsh regrowth lines.

Gorgeous color correction and repair collagen treatment for this gorgeous lady! Sometimes God sends you the people in your life that you need in your moments of hardship. This lady came to me for the first time today in desperate need of a color and cut correction. I haven’t laughed so hard in a long time. She was exactly what God knew I needed to help destress my world. Hanging out with her was exactly what my spirit needed today! Thank you! I think I needed you more than you needed me today. God knows us and is aware of what we need more than we do.

I finished grinding our new space last night. I was there till 10pm. But our main retail area that is 3200 square feet is finally ready to start repairs and get ready for our marble epoxy floor. This is what owning your own business takes. Everything you have. Time, energy, mental toughness. It’s hard work and tons of sacrifice but it is all worth it in the end to be your own boss. It’s way more stress than just clocking in and out somewhere. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I love getting to learn new skills and grow my business any way I want. I love adding to my arsenal of skills. My son Dace came up with this phrase. This is why it is our slogan for The Crafting Corner We have taught all of our boys how to do coatings. Katie has even helped with some when we were first getting started. My kids have learned our skills with us and will be helping teach classes at our shop too.
I always wanted to learn how to do concrete coatings so I can make any cool floors I want because we can’t afford to pay people to do them for us. They are very expensive. This is why we learned to do them so we could offer them as a service with my husband’s handyman business. This floor we will be putting in we would have charged $67,000. It’s crazy labor intensive, and the products alone cost 1/3 of the price. The equipment to do the coatings was another 30k just to be able to do the coatings. So when you are sticker shocked at what luxury concrete coatings cost this is why. If you want to learn how to do concrete coatings we can teach you that as well in our new shop.
