Multiple sizes of the Orient Pendant hung together makes a beautiful feature in a stairway of the Fritz Hansen headquarters. Jo Hammerborg designed this pendant in 1963. It relaunched in updated materials in 2013.

The curvy, organic shape conceals the light source with fine detailing, giving off a soft glow with no glare. Three finishes: stained ash with matt black aluminum for a modern take on the original black version, Scandinavian oak with silver-colored aluminum (pictured here) for a Nordic touch, and copper with a stained ash top for rich warmth.

Happy Labor Day! We are open our normal hours. Come see us for great design and pick up some Swedish candy too!

From our desert home: A little over an hours drive from the shop and up to 11,000 feet lies a beautiful place with quite different from the terrain in St. George. Brian Head is a pretty little resort town with ski lifts, cabins, lakes, and a lot of beautiful scenery. We've seen some new Scandinavian Stugas being built here and we're all for it. Imagine this place in spring when it's greener and it could *almost* pass for a slice of the Swedish countryside.
