Tomorrow is the big day! 🌉 Foot traffic takes over the Mighty Mac for the annual Labor Day Mackinac Bridge Walk!

Whether you're starting in St. Ignace or Mackinaw City, here is everything you need to know before you tie your laces:

Essential Details:
✅ Bridge Closure: Closed to all vehicular traffic from 6:30 AM to 12:00 PM.
✅ Walk Start Time: Begins at 7:00 AM. No one will be permitted to start after 11:30 AM.
✅ Fee & Registration: Free to participate, no registration needed!

Crossing Options:
✅ Turn Around at Midpoint: Walk halfway out from either end and return to your starting shore. (Be sure to reach the midpoint before 10:00 AM).
✅ Walk One-Way: Walk all 5 miles across. Remember: there is no event bus transportation provided back, so plan your return ride or ferry ahead of time!
✅ Double Crosser (10 Miles): Walk all the way across and back—just make sure you reach the midpoint for your return trip before 10:00 AM.
