The Hope Chest is a non-profit thrift store operated primarily by volunteer labor. Ignace Assembly of God, Glen Memorial Baptist Church, St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church, Straits Evangelical Free Church, St. Ignace United Methodist Church, and Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church. We aim to provide the area with quality goods for any income level. To ensure this we do not price anything in our stor

e, simply asking for donations for whatever amount one can give. Our proceeds also go directly back into the community helping those in need with emergency temporary financial assistance. We take item donations every day we are open till 3:30. We do not pick up items. We ask that items are clean and in good condition. Mattresses cannot be stained. Electronics need to work. We would appreciate it, if you could remove rummage sale price tags. We appreciate your donations and your business! Hope Chest is looking for a new Operations Administrator to be responsible for ensuring the healthy functioning of the Hope Chest thrift store by providing general oversight to all operations, leading the team members, training and recruiting volunteers, communicating with the Board of Trustees, coordinating with other local agencies and some fund raising. Some retail experience and management skills beneficial. This is a part time position. Apply at the Hope Chest store. We will be taking applications till June 10th.
