The Hope Chest

The Hope Chest Open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10-4. We accept donations each day from 10-3:30. It is the cooperative ministry of 6 St. Ignace Churches; St.

The Hope Chest is a non-profit thrift store operated primarily by volunteer labor. Ignace Assembly of God, Glen Memorial Baptist Church, St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church, Straits Evangelical Free Church, St. Ignace United Methodist Church, and Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church. We aim to provide the area with quality goods for any income level. To ensure this we do not price anything in our stor

e, simply asking for donations for whatever amount one can give. Our proceeds also go directly back into the community helping those in need with emergency temporary financial assistance. We take item donations every day we are open till 3:30. We do not pick up items. We ask that items are clean and in good condition. Mattresses cannot be stained. Electronics need to work. We would appreciate it, if you could remove rummage sale price tags. We appreciate your donations and your business! Come and check out our wide variety of goods spanning almost anything you can imagine.
