Meet Kevin Gladfelter, who has been with Lee County Parks & Recreation for two years!
Kevin began as a Recreation Center Specialist and has embraced every opportunity to serve the community, from supporting Fun Days and Spring Break programs to creating a Nerf Night for local families. This summer, he's taken on the role of Traditional Camp Director, where he's enjoyed leading an incredible team and helping create memorable experiences for campers.
"Serving people and knowing people is my primary motivation in this role. If I can make the day better for any one person, to make someone feel seen or known in some way, it has been a good day for me. I just want to make the world a better place, even one small local impact at a time."
Kevin loves being part of an organization that brings people together. Whether it's through camps, sports, playgrounds, nature, or community events, he believes Parks & Recreation helps create meaningful connections that make Lee County stronger.
