He’s back at it! Last night Jacob checked another stadium off his list with Dad and Fam! This week Jacob is working on doormats for the Pup on a patio event on 9/26. I’ll add the event flyer in the comments!

On 7/10/26 we started walking every evening consistently. We have missed a few days of tracking his walks but as of today his miles are 29.15 tracked. Jacobs sister started his motivation by saying for every 10 miles she will buy him canes as a reward. He hasn’t accepted a reward yet. He’s happy just to see his miles add up. We’re working hard on getting in better shape. Last Dr. visit he was down 7lbs. Slowly but surely we are getting there. Tomorrow he will hit the big 30 miles!! Having a new dog helps. Jacobs leads our pack walks and the dogs follow. It’s been a win-win.

Working on doormat orders today. Tomorrow all apparel arrives and he will be making those. Busy week. Friday orders should start shipping out.

WOW! I just stopped at VanDerGriends Farm Stand in Lansing and I now have a new favorite spot! Candy onions?? Yes please! So many varieties of watermelons and veggies and jams and salsas and baked goods!! A sugarbaby watermelon was $4.99! My only question is what took me so long to make it over there?! I took a few pictures, but was trying to stay out of the way of customers so check out their page for more info.  There is nothing I love more than supporting local small businesses. I also know this family is amazing and is connected to the disability community. I’m so happy I stopped by and I hope you do too!

What a wild few days it’s been!! Jacob is wrapping up existing orders this week before the holiday. All new orders that came in this week will be worked on next week. Thank you to everyone who ordered! Jacob will also be at 41 North Tavern 9/26 for Pups On The Patio which is a fundraiser for a local shelter. He will be bringing a few dog themed doormats. Thanks everyone!

What a great night at the Chicago White Sox game for Jacob. An incredible act off kindness turned into “the best day of my life”. Thank you Texas Rangers Jake Burger!

Jacob, a lifelong Chicago White Sox fan, sat in the front row at a recent game with his dad and sister, but Jacob was there to connect and possibly drum up some business with his favorite player, Jake Burger, who now plays for the Texas Rangers.

Jacobs next event is the Pups on the Patio at 41 North Tavern on 9/26 from 12-3pm. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to a local animal shelter. Jacob will be bringing dog themed doormats large and small. I will be posting more info as it gets closer. Then in October he will be at the Hometown Happenings Hocus Pocus market which is always a spooktakular event!
