Meta Business Suite is acting up this morning, but for the most part, I am caught up on applications and sending them out. I will be going through the ones I have tonight and choosing the official market dates for this year, and I will let vendors know ASAP and announce them here this weekend. Please keep sending in applications! If you need more documentation, I will email you about that too, so please keep an eye out for our emails with updates and follow-up information. I will also be posting updates here as needed. Also, if you are interested in setting up on non-market days, let's talk! Thank you all for your help and patience

One more post for the day! I am going to use this post to add links in the comments to different types of information about Cottage Food Law in Missouri, as well as links to the DBA (Doing Business As, aka Fictitious Name) application and the city business license. Thank you all for the guidance and patience as we figure out how to get things running properly. I hope we are all learning and growing through this together.

Thank you all for the information and guidance from the last post. I will be sending out more applications tomorrow and I will try to finalize the market dates by the end of this week. Thank you!

Hello everyone! I just wanted to get on here to clear things up on what is needed with your application and how to become a vendor. As much as I would like to accept everyone (I promise I truly would just accept every single person if it wasn't a "liability" on our end), per the city requirements in order to have a vendor at our market they must have a city business license. In order to file for a city business license you must have a registered DBA (doing business as) or LLC. To file for a DBA through the state it is only a $7 fee and it is usually approved quickly then the city business license is $25 and is also approved quickly. These licenses allow you to vend for the entire year in STJ and having the DBA or LLC allows you to sign up to other places as well. I know this isn't exciting news but in order for us to fill the place with vendors, more people need to follow these steps. Due to many people not having proper licenses and not receiving enough applications currently we will probably only have a few dates for markets this year based on when the vendors are available and what makes the most sense. With all this being said, if you're truly interested in vending but feel rushed to do all that for this year's sales, please get registered with the state and the city by next spring so you can hang with us next year!! 🪪🏛️👩‍🍳
*The only people exempt from this requirement is people selling their own homegrown produce. Which, I've been looking for more people ready to sell produce! So if that's you, please get with me and we'll talk about vending opportunities.🍅🌽👩‍🌾
*Food trucks, I must give a 30 day notice to the city for approval from the health department. So please, any food trucks that want to set up ANY TIME OF YEAR please let me.know in advance so I can let the city know the dates you want to vend there. I will also be reaching out to some trucks for the dates we decide to have sales this year for vending opportunities on those days as well. 🌮🛻
I will definitely keep everyone posted on dates and if you have any questions about the licensing, please message me and I will help the best I can. Thank you! 💚

I have sent out 75 vendor applications! I can't wait to see what comes back. If you sent me your email address and I reacted to it, check your email for the information. If you want more information, please direct message me your email address. And if you have any complications with the application, please let me know. Thank you all so much!

Good afternoon! I have finalized applications, rates, and the schedule, and have tried to respond to each individual who has shown interest in vending. If you are interested and have not sent your email in a direct message to this page, please do so. I am sending out applications as I can. Once I go through the applications, I will have to decide on limits for each category, and if necessary, I will do my best to split the dates equally among the vendors. Please be gentle with me... this is all very new and moving fast.

Current 2026 vendor rates are the same for everyone as a special for our launch and to get people involved to see how this evolves. 2027 rates will change based on the sales category and any additional costs.
