Todd's SOD Woodworking Hand-crafted, home-made creations. Lamps, frames, pizza cutters, shelves, and other specialty items. Everything is made in my woodshop at the SOD.

Unless otherwise noted, the pictures posted are of items that have been made and already sold. I am able to create pieces that are very similar, but since each piece is hand-made, nothing will be exactly the same. Message me for details on any piece you see, or have ideas about. Disclaimer: due to the natural air-drying process pieces may crack. This is natural and adds to the uniqueness of each piece.

I’ve been working on the Diver again. The products I use last year did not hold up. So I fixed what I could and gave it a new paint job. I have touch up to do then I will put several coats of spar urethane to help preserve what’s left. It is 46 years old.

So made a new mirror. I started with 1 1/2 inch White Oak. I plained both sides. I gave the inside a plain round over and the outside a Roman Ogee routered edge. It has a Colonial Maple stain.
It’s 20x33. What do you think?

So I’ve been doing a lot of staining for Athena’s new addition. The windows and doors, the large beams. So that’s what I’ve been doing lately. So my part of that is done. 👏👏👏👏👏
So I took some scraps from that and some scraps from the shop and made this box for her.
I think it turned out pretty nice for scraps. The dark stripes are Black Walnut. What do you think?
