🍎 Now Enrolling for ABC Daycare’s Before & After School Program! 📚

As we begin planning for the upcoming school year, we are officially opening enrollment for our Kindergarten through 5th Grade School-Age Program!

⚠️ Please note that space is limited. Enrollment will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis as spots are available. At this time, ABC Daycare is completely full in all other classrooms, and we are not accepting inquiries or waitlist requests for infants, toddlers, or preschool classrooms. Our current enrollment focus is exclusively on our School-Age Program.

🕛Our before and after school kid program runs from 6:30 in the morning until they get on the bus and our afterschool program runs from about 3:30 in the afternoon till 530 

Our highest priority is enrolling families who need consistent before and/or after school care, but we are also opening enrollment for:

✅ Before School Care
✅ After School Care
✅ 2 & 3 Hour Delays
✅ Scheduled School Closures
✅ Snow Days & Unexpected Closures (as space allows)

Our school-age program is so much more than just childcare! We’ve already started planning an exciting year full of adventures and enrichment on no-school days. Some of the activities we have planned include:

🌸 More Flower Bar Workshop Activities
🍪 A Cookie Decorating Class
🔫 A Laser Tag day at Slinky Action Zone
🤸 A Trampoline Park Trip
🎨 Crafts, STEM activities, cooking, games, community outings, and so much more!

That’s only scratching the surface of everything we have planned throughout the school year!

We are also happy to accommodate families from surrounding school districts. If your child attends Johnsonburg, Ridgeway, or another local district with a different calendar, simply submit your school’s schedule in advance, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your scheduled closures and no-school days. 😊

⚾ Home run kind of day! ❤️

Our ABC crew had an amazing time at the Altoona Curve today! From field introductions and meeting the mascot to cheering on the game together, it was a day full of smiles, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

A huge THANK YOU to Janice and the team at Dreamview for hosting the first cooking class of our Summer Series! 🥪🐛💚

Our school kids had an absolute blast, and we even got to bring along a handful of our older preschool friends to give them a little sneak peek of what being a school kid at ABC is all about next year! Together we made food fun by turning sandwiches into silly monsters and celery into adorable caterpillars.

It was the perfect way to spend a chilly morning, and we can’t thank Janice and Dreamview enough for creating such a fun, hands-on experience. It has definitely been one of the most anticipated….and most enjoyed…events of the summer so far!

Stay tuned… we’ve got FIVE more weeks of adventures, memories, and fun still to come! ☀️❤️

🎪❤️ Our second After Hours event of the summer is in the books!

The unexpected air quality had us making a last-minute switch and bringing our carnival indoors, but that didn’t stop the fun one bit!

A huge thank you to our incredible team for rolling with the changes and making the night so special. Their flexibility and positive attitudes helped create so many smiles and wonderful memories for the kiddos.

Thank you to all of our families for joining us…we had a blast and can’t wait for the next one! 🎉

✨ I am beyond honored and incredibly grateful to say that ABC Daycare has been nominated for Best Daycare in the Best of Tri-County! 🥹❤️

To say I was surprised would be an understatement. When I received the notification that we had been nominated, I was completely overwhelmed with pride and excitement . Just being nominated is such an incredible honor and privilege, and it truly means more to me than I can put into words.

Owning and operating ABC isn’t just my job it’s my passion. Every single day, I strive to create a safe, loving, and fun environment where children can learn, grow, and make lifelong memories. There are early mornings, long evenings, endless paperwork, planning, cleaning, staff management, and countless behind-the-scenes moments that most people never see….But seeing the smiles on the children’s faces and earning the trust of so many amazing families makes every bit of it worthwhile.

This nomination is something I am incredibly proud of because it represents the hard work, dedication, and love that my staff and I pour into daycare each and every day. I couldn’t do this without my amazing team, our wonderful families, and this incredible community that continues to support us.

A huge thank you to Brandy Camp Creamery for opening just for our ABC Daycare crew after our Summer Movie Series today! 🍦☀️

On such a hot day, that special treat absolutely made the kids’ day. Their smiles said it all! We are so thankful for your kindness and willingness to make our afternoon extra special. We truly appreciate your support of our community and our kiddos! ❤️

What a wonderful Friday it was for our ABC Daycare Summer Program! ☀️🚂🎣

Our preschoolers and school-age kiddos had an unforgettable experience riding with the Bucksgahuda & Western Railroad, and we are so grateful for all of the volunteers who helped make the day so special. Thank you for welcoming our group and giving the children memories they’ll be talking about for a long time!

Meanwhile, a group of our school-age boys chose to spend the day fishing, proving that summer adventures come in all forms! From casting lines to riding the rails, everyone had an amazing day enjoying the outdoors and making lifelong memories with friends.

We are so thankful for the opportunities our community provides and can’t wait to see what adventures are next! ❤️

Our school-age program and older preschoolers enjoyed a beautiful walk to Memorial Park today! ☀️

Along the way, we made a special pit stop at DD’s Bakery to recharge our batteries with some delicious donuts. 🍩

They welcomed our group with open arms, handled our excitement wonderfully, and allowed us to take a break at their tables to eat our donuts before continuing our adventure. ❤️

A huge thank you to DD’s Bakery for helping make our morning extra special! It’s been a perfect day to be out exploring, and we can’t wait to see what other adventures the day has in store.

Today our school-age adventurers had an incredible time exploring the Elk Visitor Center!

One of my favorite parts of summer is being able to provide experiences like these for the children in our program. Watching them explore, ask questions, discover new interests, and simply enjoy being kids makes all the planning worth it.

A very special thank you to Dakota and Emma for welcoming our wild group with open arms today! Your kindness, patience, and enthusiasm helped create an experience these children will remember for years to come. We are so grateful for the time and care you put into making our visit so special.
