December is extremely tough on my family. Today is the day we lost 2 precious grands in our life. Yeah, they didn’t pass on the same year, but they passed on the same day, December 9th… 22 years apart. I want to celebrate Grandma Betty and Papa Dick today. I’m not sure what I’m going to do, but I’m going to do something.

Message to my mama: Mama… thinking about your heart today. Mine is aching too. Grandma, so sweet, she loved to hum and papa’s softest hands, softer than a baby. I have memories and they are still strong. I miss them with all my heart.
