Caulfield Burda Custom Guitarworks Custom built guitars at a players price! Caulfield Burda Custom Guitarworks has grown out of over 15 years of being a musician myself.

It started with a love of music and an appreciation for great sounding and great playing guitars. As I spent years playing I started picking up little tricks and tips about how to work on guitars, what things made them sound better and ultimately became more and more picky about two factors, how does the guitar feel and how does it sound. ld my first guitar from scratch a few years ago, a guitar that has sense become my main workhorse. It is that type of guitar that I want to be in the hands of every musician out there. One that you play, one that has incredible tone and one that is comfortable in your hands. Whether you are a hobby player, studio pro or touring the world my goal is to make you a players guitar! All of our guitars have features that you used to only be able to find in the vintage guitars of old or shell out incredible amounts money for a boutique one. Each Caulfield Burda Custom Guitar features hand wound pickups; hand done finishing (Oil, Stain or nitrocellulose lacquer) and all hand build in the USA! It is my hope that when you order a guitar from us you receive the guitar that you will love and play for years to come.

What can I say! Chambered rosewood top over dark walnut body with a korina neck with Madagascar rosewood fretboard! Nashville style pickup routing with the bridge pickup being rwrp to give you a bridge humbucker tone option! Middle pickup is nice and balanced and the neck is wound slightly quieter to give it a ton of deep bass tone for overdriving and solo channels.

Ser. 002 “None More Blackie” Discounted $1000
This was the second guitar I built and the only other one with my old rocket ship logo. The body is ash with a black stain and a the neck is flame maple with a Pau Ferro Board. I wanted this guitar to be a cross between the classic Clapton and SRV sounds so it has a set of Fender Custom Shop Texas Specials that I rewound to a slightly mellower tone. This thing has all the honk, squawk and growl that you would expect. This guitar has been used as a demo model and so is being offered at a discounted price.

About a month ago I had the opportunity to visit the CMC and give a guitar demo, show some tricks of the trade and do some minor repair work on a few of the students guitars. I also left a little something behind one of my custom tele's with a spalted maple top and Birdseye maple neck.

Hope they enjoy it and the students keep on making great music!
