GoldMonkey GoldMonkey is the studio of artist & jeweler Matt Roberts. My name is Matt Roberts and GoldMonkey is my studio.

I am an artist and jeweler specializing in creating unique and unusual jewelry, accessories, & sculpture. I use a broad range of materials and methods to achieve these creations. While I often work in gold & silver, I also enjoy working with an assortment of other metals, such as copper, iron, iron, aluminum, and steel. I am also drawn to non-metallic materials as well. ther, bone, wood, and even insect parts. I don't consider any material off limits (safety allowing!). I especially enjoy working with clients to create striking, one of a kind pieces of jewelry such as wedding rings and sets, anniversary pieces, and items commemorating a special occasion. Recently completed one of the more unusual wedding bands I've made so far. The groom wanted a ring with some sort of hidden feature. After some coffee and brainstorming, we designed this band which has small swing arms that allow it to form he and his bride’s initials. It also might be the key to an ancient spaceship...

Another ring from early 2013. This engagement ring was commisioned by James Clark for Melinda Christine. The hand-carved, 14k rose gold ring has three bright rubies set into the entwined branches and leaves.

A new photo post? Yes... FINALLY. This is a pair of wedding rings I did back in January '13 for Anneke & Caleb Musselman. The rings are both sterling silver with a white sapphire and black spinal set in Anneke's. The stones are set in an inverted (upside down) positionand the alternating bar motif is based on recurring pattern from Caleb's artwork.
