At 83, I certainly identify with this!

I've seen better days but I've also seen worse. I don't have everything that I want but I do have all I need. I woke up with some aches and pains but I woke up. My life may not be perfect but I am grateful. And that perspective right there is what separates the bitter from the blessed. You can either focus on what's missing or focus on what's still standing. Both are real but only one gives you peace.

Some people have more money but less joy. Some people have bigger houses but emptier hearts. Some people look like they have it all together but would trade everything for the simple things you're taking for granted right now. You woke up today, that's a blessing somebody didn't receive. You have people who love you, that's a gift money can't buy.

Your life isn't perfect but it's yours and it's still full of things worth being thankful for. So stop measuring your life against someone else's highlight reel and start counting what actually matters. You're breathing, you're here, you're trying, and that alone makes you more blessed than you realize.
