☀️📚 STORY LAB with Lauren! 🌱✨

Where stories help little hearts grow! 💕

Join local child therapist Lauren Pardue of Sunshine Children’s Counseling for a special monthly Story Lab designed to help children explore feelings, build social-emotional skills, and grow through the power of books. 📖✨

This month, she’ll read Tummies Flip, Hearts Skip: A Book About How Feelings Feel by Kris Downing—a wonderful story that helps children notice and understand the physical feelings that can come along with different emotions. 💕🌈

After the story, children will take part in a hands-on activity designed to encourage emotional awareness, connection, confidence, and social-emotional growth.

🌈📚 Play Me A Story is Back!

Designed especially for little ones ages 2–4, Play Me A Story combines the joy of reading with hands-on, open-ended play. Each session uses stories as a springboard for children to explore, create, imagine, and connect!

This September, we’re bringing Play Me A Story back to The Story Garden for our littlest storytellers! We’ll start with a story, end with a story, and play in between, bringing each book to life through hands-on play and exploration. 🎨📖

It’s more than storytime—it’s a chance for little ones to explore, create, practice early literacy skills, build confidence, and discover that books can take us anywhere!

📅 Mondays: Sept. 14 & 28 at 10 AM or 4 PM
