Every act of kindness can become a tradition that changes lives. 💙

More than a decade ago, one of our incredible volunteers, Gail, saw children entering foster care with little more than the clothes they were wearing. She invited her grandchildren to use some of their vacation money to buy clothing for children in need. The following year, they turned that act of kindness into a "baby shower" style donation party, inviting family and friends to help.

What started as one family's way of giving back has become a beautiful tradition that continues to impact children entering foster care each year.

This September, we'd love to see Gail's legacy inspire even more families, friends, churches, businesses, neighborhoods, and community groups.

✨ Host your own "baby shower" style clothing drive or donation party.
👕 Invite guests to bring new clothing, pajamas, shoes, backpacks, books, toys, or other essentials for children from newborn through age 18.
📦 Or simply stop by our office throughout September and drop off new items to help ensure children entering foster care have the comfort and essentials they deserve.

Hosting a donation party is a wonderful way to involve children and grandchildren, teach compassion and generosity, and create memories that will last a lifetime, all while making a meaningful difference for local children during one of the most difficult times in their lives.

Together, we can help every child entering foster care know that their community cares. 💙
