hi internet! shannon here, if you’re a new Common Thread follower I wanted to reintroduce myself (but mostly wanted to share my latest knit lol)

one year ago we opened the doors of our little yarn shop and cafe - can you believe it’s already been a year?? since then I’ve had the honor of opening the space to thousands of new faces, watching nervous new students become masterful knitters and crocheters, and seeing strangers blossom into close friends 💗

most days you’ll find me around the shop yapping with everyone, stocking the yarn wall, knitting sample pieces, or behind the counter serving up drinks. other than that, I am virgo, a new (senior) dog mom, and an improv performer / instructor at .

thanks for being here! if you haven’t stopped by the shop, you simply gotta check it out. I may be biased but we’re probably the cutest, funkiest and most welcoming LYS in the world. and if you’ve been here before… come back soon! we’re always getting new stuff and we’re growing like crazy right now.
