Wanted to take minute to personally talk about the sad news we received this week regarding Peter Cullen’s passing.

As someone who grew up in the 80’s, his voice was one of the principle inconic voices of that decade, when it came to pop culture and he voiced roles in most the shows, I would rush home from school to watch every weekday.

From Optimus Prime and other Transformer & GI Joe roles to his narration of Voltron and other shows of the 80’s; he played such a great and contributing part in one of the most imaginative decades of Pop culture and kids entertainment, that inspired so many for years to come.

I consider myself fortunate, over the years to have been able to meet and thank so folks both in everyday life and the entrainment industry for any inspiration or other motivations that led me to opening our shop and meeting so many in our community, who love the same interests.

Unfortunately, I never did have a chance to meet Peter and say that as well and ultimately that’s why I wanted to share this.

Peter was an iconic staplemark voice and entertainer for my generation and the generations that followed afterwards. I would be remiss to not say that his roles in the shows he starred in were part of many components that inspired me to have the kind of store we do today.

So, with the news of his passing I would say two things…

Thank you Peter for all the great memories.

And…

If you love where you are in life, think about all the people that in some way inspired or helped you get there and please be sure to take the time at some point to thank them and let them know they made a difference in some positive way.

Finally getting our next wave of Bandai restock later today. Unfortunately, delays in processing at one of our primary distributors has kept us waiting almost 2 weeks on this shipment, so we’re very glad to see these coming in today! Will post pics and updates when it arrives!
