All of my products are handcrafted by me, Kenia, as well as artisans and craftsmen from over 30 countries around the world. My primary source of product and raw material is Mexico, where I buy directly from the people who design and make my jewelry, wall art, pottery, hand-blown glass and clothing. I represent local silversmiths there, as well as international award-winning jewelry designers from

Taxco, Monterrey, Guadalajara and Mexico City. I consider Papaya Arts a global fair trade store, ensuring that the artisans and craftsmen are paid a fair price for their work. Much of my product is made from sustainable resources or recycled material, placing less pressure on our world's natural resources. I have been making jewelry for over 9 years, since first being inspired while visiting Barcelona, Spain. While exploring this beautiful city I discovered a small street where I found all the supplies that I needed to start....and my life changed! As my craft improved I began selling to my friends in Mexico City and since arriving in the US I have been operating Papaya Arts and also selling sterling silver, copper and brass findings to customers all over the world.
