I have a personal rule that if I hear about something more than a few times that it’s my sign that I have to check it out.

This particular interesting concoction has been haunting me lately! It is called a Kalimatxo and is made of red wine, Coke, lemon juice, bitters and demarara syrup. It sounds wrong, but you know what? It’s so right!

Side note, I used a cheap red blend wine and Coke Zero so I was bracing myself.

3oz Red Wine
3oz Coke
Squeeze of lemon juice
Few dashes of bitters25oz demarara syrup
Lemon slice
