Factual Friday:
Fabric woven on a loom (like quilter’s cotton) has two sets of threads the Warp and the Weft. The warp is the first set of threads and runs parallel to the salvage. The weft runs perpendicular to the salvage. The weft threads are woven through the warp threads with a shuttle, which goes back and forth over and over. The space shuttle and airport shuttles actually get their name from this feature of weaving!
