🏈 Every football mom probably has one memory that comes to mind before all the others.

Mine isn't a touchdown...
or a championship...
or even Carter's final game.
It's what happened after the big plays.

I was fortunate to be one of our school's media photographers, so I spent every game on the sidelines with my camera. And after a great play, Carter would often give me a hug on the sideline before heading back to the huddle.
Those hugs lasted just a few seconds but they're some of my favorite football memories.

That's why these scrapbook pages mean so much to me. They're not just about the score or the season. They're about preserving the little moments that made those Friday nights unforgettable.

I'd love to hear one of your football memories. ❤️

🏈 One of my favorite parts of our annual scrapbook retreat is seeing how the same project takes on a completely different personality from one person to the next.

We all start with the same idea.....and then it becomes our story.

My version is in orange, black, and white because those were my boys' school colors.
Holly's version is navy and green because that's where her football memories were made.

Same layouts.
Same stamp set.
Completely different memories.

That's exactly what has me excited about putting together a customizable version of this workshop. I'd love for you to be able to create these pages in your school colors and fill them with the moments that mean the most to your family.

I'm still working through the details, but I have to ask...
💙❤️💚💜

If I offered this as a pre-cut scrapbook kit (with the coordinating stamp set included), would you want to create it for your own team's colors?

It’s time for the full reveal of my Pretty Poinsettia Card Tutorial! 🎄
https://youtu.be/spzv_Uosih4

In today’s video, I’m sharing all six Christmas cards and taking a closer look at how I used three different specialty papers throughout the workshop.

You’ll see how I combined shimmer, texture, pattern and shine while keeping the colors coordinated so the cards still feel clean and polished. I’ll also share a few ideas for using those beautiful specialty papers you may have been saving for just the right project.

These cards feature the Pretty Poinsettia Bundle in soft blues, navy, white and silver for a fresh take on Christmas cardmaking.

Christmas cards don’t always have to be red and green.

For this workshop, I used Misty Moonlight, Balmy Blue, Cloud Cover and silver. The colors still feel festive, but they give the poinsettias a fresh winter look.

They also coordinate easily from card to card, which is helpful when you want variety without pulling out a completely different collection of supplies for every design.

I’ve created six cards using this same palette, but each card has its own combination of poinsettias, foliage and specialty paper.

Do you enjoy traditional Christmas colors, or are you ready to try something different this year?

Here’s a closer look at one of the poinsettias from my upcoming card workshop.

The Pretty Poinsettia dies add all that beautiful detail right into the petals and leaves. That means you can create plenty of texture without adding extra stamping or coloring to every piece.

I layered the petals, gently shaped them and added a small accent in the center. Paired with the specialty paper, it looks much more detailed than it was difficult to make.

That’s my favorite kind of Christmas card—beautiful, but still very doable when you need to make more than one.

When you make Christmas cards, do you create one design for everyone or several different designs?

Specialty papers don’t always have to be used one at a time.

For my upcoming Pretty Poinsettia Card Tutorial, I combined three different specialty papers. Each one brings something a little different to the cards—shimmer, texture, pattern or shine—but keeping the colors coordinated helps everything work together without making the cards feel too busy.

And if you have specialty paper tucked away because it feels a little too pretty to cut, this workshop may give you a few ideas for finally using it. 😉

Can you spot the three different specialty papers I used?

🏈 One workshop... two completely different looks.

One of my favorite things about this football workshop is how easy it is to make it your own.

My youngest son's school colors were orange, black, and white, so that's the version I created for our football memories.
My friend Holly's school colors were navy and green, so she simply swapped the cardstock colors to match her team.

Same workshop.
Same stamp set.
Same memories...
Just personalized for the teams we were cheering for. 💙🧡

That's exactly what has me so excited about putting together a customizable version of this workshop. No matter who you're cheering for on Friday nights, your pages can tell your family's story.

So now I have to ask...

❤️ Red & White?
💙 Blue & Gold?
💚 Green & White?
💜 Purple & Gold?

What are your school colors?
