Mid-America Garden is a Bearded Iris Nursery that introduces Tall Bearded, Border Bearded, Miniature Tall Bearded, Intermediate Bearded, Standard Dwarf Bearded, Miniature Dwarf Bearded, and Arilbred introductions by Thomas Johnson, Paul Black, Lynda Miller and Barry Blyth in Salem, Oregon and is on the same location as Sebright Garden which specializes in Hostas, Ferns, and Epimediums.

Heard A Rumor (T. Johnson '25). The video kind of speaks for itself on this one. A stunning color and a gorgeous iris in clump. Very flashy and a super early variety.

Ignite the Light (T. Johnson '21). We love this iris, it just glows especially when it is in full clump. We were very happy when it won the best out of region iris at the American Iris Society national convention in Billings, Montana last year. It looked great in several gardens prooving its winter hardiness in colder climates.

Well We have managed to put a surplus sale together. The website is open and all the pricing has been changed to reflect the sales price. Below is a picture of the iris Lovely Livvy, and yes she is also in the sale!! The sale will be short and will only run from Sunday August 23rd thru Thursday August 27th, followed by shipments beginning Monday August 31st

Jealous Rage (T. Johnson '25). Tall well branched and budded with great color. This is quite an early variety to get your season started off with a shot of color. A real beauty.

Just Curious (T. Johnson '22). Here is a good solid performer in our field every year. I used this one quite a lot in hybridizing and it easily transmits wide ruffled form and a good stem to its children. Just Curious is also a very strong grower with rapid increase.

Just Released (T. Johnson '25). A very bright iris with gorgeous ruffles and form. Good bud count on nicely branched show stems. A really distinctive and showy iris.

Love You More (T. Johnson '25). Ooh La La, this one!! the color is such a different rich pink and it certainly stands out. Good strong growth, great stems and lots of buds. A winner both in the garden and on the show bench. I real stunner!!

Love In The Dark (T. Johnson '25) Wow, this one is stunning when in full flower. Incredible stems, buds branching, form and color!! That yellow ground color makes the whole thing pop!!

Lost In Thought (T. Johnson '25) Elegance and beauty are two words that pop into my head when I think of this iris. Absolutely gorgeous wide form in a clean soft bicolor, such a pleasant and soothing color combination. Really good stems and healthy robust foliage are also a major plus.
