🎶 You're invited to Willie Weeks Day in Salemburg, NC on June 5 from 5:30–7:30 PM at the Strickland Building (112 N. Main St.) for a special mural unveiling and dedication honoring world-renowned bassist Willie Weeks!

Born and raised in Salemburg, Weeks has toured and recorded with legendary artists across genres—from Stevie Wonder, The Rolling Stones, James Taylor, and Billy Joel, to Vince Gill, Wynonna, Kenny Rogers, and Conway Twitty. His incredible career has even been highlighted by institutions like the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.

This free event is your chance to meet Willie Weeks himself, along with Scott Nurkin of The Mural Shop, the talented muralist who created the tribute. Enjoy an evening of live music, hors d’oeuvres, and celebration in honor of a true hometown legend.
