We offer a full range of outdoor clothing, including: Patagonia, Marmot, Prana, The North Face and many more. We also sell and service a wide range of outdoor hard gear like tents, sleeping bags, stoves, backcountry skis and acces

sories, backpacks, etc. Our staff gets out there and they are happy to help you find the best guidebooks for the area and the best adventures in the area. Just call us and we'll help you find a great outdoor adventure in the Salida, Buena Vista, Monarch Pass or Arkansas River area.

One year ago today we took over this shop not knowing what we were getting into. What followed was better than anything we could have ever hoped for and we couldn’t have done it without you.

Backcountry Days is going down this Sunday at , and it’s shaping up to be a pretty lush powder day.

We’ll have:
🎿 a full lineup of skis (including fast & light !!!)
🏂 our Splitboard demo fleet
⛷️ our demo fleet of Charger Aces (available for purchase 👀)
❄️ our tele skis!

Take them for a spin. Hike up to Mirkwood and drop into the bowl for some pretty unreal powder turns or lap some cruisey groomers!

A LOVELY DAY 🫶🏼❄️

We went up on the pass to take a look so you don’t have to!

A solid, enjoyable tour overall with a smooth approach and good skiing mixed in. Some wind effect and variable coverage remain, as expected for this snowpack.

Early season still rewards patience, conservative choices, and paying attention to what the snowpack is doing day to day.

We’ll keep getting eyes on things and passing along what we learn. If you’re curious we are always down to talk snow and conditions at the shop!
