The Salina Central High School Mustangs have added another percussion instrument - a Pearl 4.3 octave marimba with the field frame. This marimba will be used on the football field for performances and other school band needs. We think the new marimba was instrumental in their big win over Ark City last night.

What a night! We celebrated the 40th Anniversary of SM Hanson Festival Jam. Perfect weather, an awesome selection of bands, and a Perfect crowd. Attendees started forming a line outside the gates at 12:30 for their favorite spot. Always the highest attended event of the Smoky Hill River Festival . See you next year.
