Good morning

Quick update on sheryl, she is doing fairly well, still working on getting her medicene doses where they need to give her the most benefit. We are join a medicare program called "Guide" which get me another source for helping with sheryl. We have qualified so far, tuesday we have an in home visit and meet the local people helping me. If anyone is interested and are on Medicare, this is a free program, contact me and I can maybe get in the right direction.

So for the Shop this week we will
Be open
Wednesday September 23 from 12noon to 3pm
Friday September 25th from 12noon to 4pm

The photos attached are of some promotions that mattel does montly, these cars come with a higher price tag and some times take up to a year to arrive. The porsche will be $28 plus shipping and taxes and is about a year to get here. It is a preorder, so they won't sell out. The value won't increase much. The Beetle transformer was also a prebuy for $65 plus taxes and shipping. Not sure yet on Wednesdays release. Now the 29th will be different, it will sell out in minutes. It is
Hot Wheels RLC Exclusive Nissan Skyline GT-R (BNR32) for $28 plus shipping and taxes. Now there is 2 ways to buy this car.
1. Join the redline club for $10 and be ready to scramble and get 1 or 2 before it sells out.

2. Join the redline club for $10 add the Overdrive feature when it is available for $100, usually only available the first couple weeks of the year. Overdrive allows you to buy before the sale starts on most RLC CARs, usually limits to 1 or 2 cars.
Now most of the cars that have a limits and sells out in just minutes will increase in value sometimes doubling or triples in value. Currently the
RLC Exclusive Nissan Skyline GT-R (BNR32) is on evilpay by presale for $69 to $149

Good Sunday evening
September 13th, 2026

Well to start off, Sheryl had a fairly good week. She is now off the old medication and on the new medication. So we will let her build on that. We did have a couple sleepless nites, so we napped more during the day. Thanks for your continued prayers.

The attached picture is of all the basic Hot Wheels for 2026. That is 250 cars. Now there is also not pictured but duplicates to the cars in color variations, zamacs (12) and Red Edition cars(12) and STH's(15).
Also since 2013 Mattel has made (50 new models each year) and from 1995 to 2013 it varied from 12 to 42 new cars and in 2004 they made 100 new diecast models.

Total Production: Mattel manufactures roughly 2 million individual Hot Wheels cars every single day.

Hot Wheels has produced over 25,000 unique models and more than 8 billion individual toy cars since launching in 1968.

Good Monday evening
SEPTEMBER 7TH 2026

So this week for sheryl was about the same, we are finishing the medicine changes and hope things will settle down for her. She struggles, which in turn makes things tougher on me. I should not put this out there, but I believe it is her terrible 2's. It is Great when she sleeping, but a handful when awake. But then again, there are special moments when she whispers "thank you" and gives me a kiss on the forehead.

So the shop this week will be open on Wednesday September 9th 12 noon to 3pm.
Friday September 11th 12 noon to 4pm

So the photo is a reminder of the card trade-in program we have. One loose Hot Wheels car for every 5 cards. No limit.
Now I want to do another short program for the next 3 weeks. This is for Walmart, Target and Dillons receipts only. I will pay .25 cents for every basic Hot wheel on your receipt that you turn in. Up to $10 per person. Also $1 for every 5pack up to the combined total of $10 cash back. NOW If you choose to take instore credit I will double it. So .25 cents becomes .50 cents,$1 for a 5pk becomes $2. So $10 cash then becomes $20 instore credit. Receipts must be dated September 7th, 2026 and newer, nothing before. Just passing on a little information for this Saturdays September 5th SALE

We will be open from 12 noon to 3pm

On the tables out front will be
Regular treasure hunt hot wheels and
zamac hot wheels
Price $2.50 ea. - 4/$10

Also, for every $50 in purchases, not just the special, any purchase. You get to pick a Target exclusive Red Edition Hot wheel (pictures attached)
So I look forward to seeing everyone that is able to be here Saturday.

Also looking for some kids, as Joe Mark has dropped off some diecast cars for the kids to pick from.

Welcome to the newest Barbie and Ken added to our collection at Long's Collectibles and Giftshop

These two were officially released to the public on September 1st at 11am.
These 2 were on our doorstep at 7:15 am this morning September 2nd.
We are excited to add these 2 to the collection. They will join the other 15 Dia De Mu***os currently on display.

So last week was a little rough for Sheryl as the medicene they were changing wasn't helping in any way. So they are changing again, and we are reducing one medicene and adding a new medicene. It has been a rough start, but seems a little better today. She slept thru the night last night. So prayers that things continue.

So the shop next week will be open

I am hoping this week goes well and I do not need to change anything.
I plan to have a couple tables out on Saturday
Featuring some $2.50 cars, regular treasure hunts and zamacs, and maybe some other cars. I also have a few mystery Boxes left with 20 cars for $15. Included is 1-reg TH, 1-zamac and a 4 car series set, plus 14 others.

The picture today is where I am currently at on my Super Treasure Hunts for 2026. If you have any you want to trade, I have some supers to trade, a few 2025's available also.

So I am a day late posting my update, so here we go.
So Sheryl is doing fairly well overall, but it seems that afternoon and early evenings is where she is most active and anxiety seems take over. I think it is a combination of being tired and being confused. So we are trying to allow the new medication work. It's been a little over a week since we stopped the other medication. So thanks for the prayers.

So this week at the shop,
we will only be open on
Thursday from 12noon to 4pm. Changed to thursday
Still working on getting some Saturdays opened up. Keep watching.

The pictures attached are of some Beanie Babies that we have at home, just a few.

I also wanted to remind everyone that if you buy basic Hot Wheels at Walmart, to save your receipt and bring it in to me, i will give .25 cents per car you buy for the receipt. Also, 5pks work as well for $1 back for the receipt. So shop walmart and come see me.

So last week was the of tapering off a couple previous medications and so this week we are on the new medication only. It was a rough week, so hopefully this week smoothes out and Sheryl will at least feel a little better. It is very hard to watch her crying from just being touched, no matter how gentle you are. The two dr appointments last week went good. Both telemed, one salina and the other ku in kc. So a few things mentioned and we will be following up on them. So pray for sheryl to have a good week.

So the shop this week will be open on Wednesday August 19th noon to 3pm.
We may have another day but waiting to hear from sheryls sister when she may be available. So watch for up dates.
