Thank you! To all who touched the annual donations sale by giving, sorting or volunteering on the day of the sale. In Friday’s newsletter we will have the final count of how much was raised.

I want you to know about some of the miracles which happened along the way.

The Quilting Season's Charity Board agreed to hire two wonderful teenagers who did an amazing job. I’m sure they moved every single box at least two if not three times. Then we realized that the forecast of rain was predicted. (We have never had it rain on us before – so we didn’t take it seriously until late in the week.) We called our facilities person, Frank, who through the landlord, arranged with Saline Schools for us to use the former beauty school in our same building. We received the key at 3 pm on Friday and quickly took the items to the new area. At the same time the rest of the wonderful volunteers were busy loading a flat bed trailer and several pickup trucks were moving all the boxes from our storage unit to the new staging area. (I am hoping others will send us pictures to publish – It was so busy and exciting). On Saturday morning the shoppers lined up to pay their admission fee and were ready to rush in. As far as I could tell, everyone had a good time and at the end of the day – there was so little left!

A huge thank you to Carolyn who was such a good leader! And to all the staff who helped in so many ways. None of this could be done with out all of you – your enthusiasm, work, and wise ideas.

You know both Carolyn and I are 88 years old,
so we really need your energy and wise help!

With a grateful heart; we both send our thank you's and love!

Thank you!
