Wacky Wednesday, November 1st, and our last post on this page! To stay current with news from The Quilting Season please check out their page on Facebook. It will contain all kinds of pictures of new fabrics, new class information and other fun exciting happenings at the store! This is also the last post of the Preemie quilt eye candy pictures. Please continue to go to their workdays, and also to make quilts at home. They are so badly needed and so loved once given out ❤️!

I want to thank everyone of you that have read and commented on my post. But as I am not at the store as often as in the past, I am not up to date on all the planning of events. So I feel like I am not keeping you up to date on exciting things that are planned. So it is with a heavy heart that this is our last post on this site.

Thank you for all your support and ideas, Mary D. is doing the new website has graciously invited me to post on the new site. I may occasionally take her up on this great offer!

So best wishes in the coming days, months, and years! Keep those sewing machines humming and always be creative…❤️❤️❤️

Super news! The Quilting Season has a new Facebook site! Mary Dekker has started up a new site that will be the all in one place to look for information on the store.
She will be posting new fabrics, adding a calendar showing when new classes will be, and places we will be a vendor at! Finally you will be able to find everything you need to know in one place. It will be your go to facebook site.

I have tried to keep you up to date on all the happenings at the store. Unfortunately I am not there as often as in the past to keep up with all the new fabrics, classes, and shows that we attend as vendors. My internet doesn’t always receive the weekly email newsletter, so there are times when
I have no idea what is being planned at the store. So we have all decided that one website would be best for you our loyal followers. I will continue on with this website for awhile yet, that way they can get their rhythm on posting what everyone needs to know. My plan is for September 1st to be
the ending date of this website.

Mary has invited me to also post on this new site, so I will try to keep some things coming to you but it most likely won’t be daily. But hey you never know I tend to do things on impulse sometimes…

So when you get a few spare minutes, please take time to check out the new website The Quilting Season on Facebook. I know you will love the sneak peeks of new fabrics that will be posted!

This is a thank you note to all our pillowcase stitchers...we have expanded this year! We now create pillowcases filled with love for Motts (Ann Arbor),
Childrens Hospital (Detroit), Beaumont Hospital (Troy), Ronald McDonald House (Detroit), and The Downriver Foster Closet (Southgate). With covid we managed to grow. So the pillowcase kit shelf will be kept filled, so you can always pick up kits to sew. The need is now greater than ever, and until we can have our monthly Pillowcase Days again, we are depending on everyone to help from home.
Also a HUGE THANK YOU TO JAN B. for washing and pressing and packaging most of our completed pillowcases this year. Jan you are one special lady, you have pressed hundreds of pillowcases this year for us.
I am looking for more volunteers to help with the washing, etc. If interested please contact Mary at the store, or leave me a message on Face Book.
Thank you to each and everyone of you wonderful volunteers! ❤️❤️❤️
