What a summer of growth! We've learned, we've laughed, and we've flourished through loss. My favorite parts of summer were the unexpected gems along the way...
This summer on the holding has been one we will carry with us for a long time.
We've spent countless days getting to know the season and our animals, learning their personalities, caring for them, and navigating those wild curves as we go. There has been plenty of trial and error, a few lessons we didn't expect, and so many little moments that reminded us just how much there is to learn when you are truly building something with your hands and your heart.
We've watched animals and gardens grow, and my favorite, these hydrangeas! We've celebrated the simple beauty that comes with tending to a place we love.
We've learned what it is to nurture and protect what is here, but we have also had the joy of being out in the community through vendor and farmer's markets and met so many beautiful people along the way! Every conversation, every familiar face, every new connection, and every unexpected encounter has become part of our sweet summer story.
Through Found Fora, we've especially loved connecting people with sustainable goods, those can't-believe-it finds and homemade goodies. Thoughtfully found and carefully created, the collective brought the perfect touch to every market this summer.
More than anything this has been a season of support and community like no other. Cultivation is best when it's done carefully.
I am grateful for everyone who has stopped by, supported us, shared in conversation, admired a plant or piece, or simply encouraged me along the way. It's still growing, and so are we!
