This beautiful deck is full of fall color and texture, from Japanese anemones and dahlias to snapdragons, sedum, and trailing greenery. A wonderful reminder that fall decorating doesn’t have to be all mums and pumpkins!

A big thank you to our customer for sharing these photos with us! 💚

FALL in love with this flower! 🌸🌿

Japanese anemones are one of our favorite plants for this time of year! While many summer blooms are winding down, these beauties are still bringing fresh color and movement to the garden.

Shout out to for picking up FOUR! If your garden could use a little extra color this fall, stop by Godley’s and check out our Japanese anemones before they’re gone!

Here’s why we love them:
🌸 Bloom in late summer and fall, when many other flowers are fading.

🦌 Generally deer resistant!

🐝 Attract pollinators, including bees.

🌤️ Thrive in partial shade, making them a great option for those trickier garden spots.

🌸 They’re perennials, so you can enjoy them year after year!

🦋 The monarchs are on the move!

It’s that special time of year when monarch butterflies make their incredible journey south to Mexico for the winter! And lucky for us, they’re making their way through North Carolina. 🍂

Keep an eye out for these beautiful travelers as they stop to rest and refuel on fall-blooming flowers along the way.

Want to give them a helping hand? Planting fall favorites like butterfly bushes, asters, goldenrod, and other nectar-rich blooms can provide much-needed fuel for their long journey.

Just another reason to love this time of year at Godley’s! 🌿🦋

This week, we’re spotlighting Bobby! 🌱💚

Bobby has been part of the Godley’s family since day ONE, and we truly can’t imagine the garden center without him! Our go-to guy for all things landscaping, Bobby brings years of plant knowledge, creativity, and a whole lot of hard work to everything he does. He’s someone we can always count on, and we’re so grateful for his dedication over the years.

Now, Bobby isn’t exactly a fan of having his picture taken, so we had to dig into the archives for this throwback! 😂

Help us give a big THANK YOU to Bobby for all he does for Godley’s! We sure are lucky to have him! 💚

🎉 Help us wish a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the man who started it all! 🎉

Back in 1989, he started Godley’s Garden Center, and what he built has grown into so much more than a business. It’s become a place where friendships are made, families are welcomed, and our community comes together.

If you know him, you know there’s never a dull moment when he’s around. He’s always got a story to share or something up his sleeve to keep us all laughing!

But behind all those jokes is a man with a big heart who has poured so much of himself into this business, his family, his employees, and the Salisbury community.

We’re incredibly proud of what he’s built, but even more grateful for the person he is. His hard work, dedication, and love for this place have created something truly special that will continue for generations to come. ❤️

So today, we’re celebrating the man behind Godley’s! We hope your birthday is filled with as much laughter as you’ve given the rest of us over the years.

Happy Birthday! We love and appreciate you!🎂🌳

Help us make his day by leaving him a birthday wish below! 💚
