Price is $750. The rod is in excellent condition. It is signed with the original owners name "Mike Edwards." Beautiful Winston green sanded blank with matching wraps, burgundy tipping at the signature wrap. Bright guides. U-shaped hook-keeper. Spigot ferrules for a smooth energy transfer and flex and these ferrules still have plenty of life left in them, see photos. Fine, knurled, bright nickel silver winding check. Reverse half wells grip. The grip is only lightly soiled and free of any defect. Updated with a bright nickel silver up-locking reel seat with a beautiful burled maple spacer. Etched in the bottom of the butt cap is, "R.L. Winston Rod Co." The action is a very traditional trout action that could be considered medium compared to most modern graphite rods. The Winston IM6 rods have an almost cult-like following, known as one of the best graphite rods ever produced. Includes original embroidered bag and labeled, green aluminum Winston tube.
