We were thrilled to have Kate MacLeod come into the shop and play violins and bows! Kate was a student and teacher at the violin making school and worked at the shop for 10 years. It was wonderful to have her back, even for a little while!

This is a violin in the white (meaning unvarnished). Andrew Stolfa is hearing his first violin made for the first time! It already sounds great, we can't wait to hear it with varnish!!

When a violin is built, but unvarnished it is a violin in the white. Here Mary has the incredible opportunity of playing luthier Andrew Stolfa's first violin.
