Today’s local coffee shop is IndieGo Coffee in South Salt Lake! It’s a family owned and operated coffee shop where you can enjoy savory food items like the owner loved from her town in India. I dropped by on recommendation from a good friend who used to play open mics there. What a cool place. It has that true local community feel, where people actually come to gather, to meet people, to swap ideas. The menu looked delicious, but I was on my way to eat with family so I couldn’t sneak anything. Next time though for sure. I grabbed an iced latte and took a spin around the art gallery and saw the massive ofrenda on display. It was beautiful. Take a look for yourself in the following photos. Check out Mestizo!

Next time you are in Logan, Utah, be sure to stop by The Westside Coffee Company. It’s built inside a cool old house, and on our visit it was a bit chilly outside so we kind of thought we’d be the only ones there. Boy were we wrong. Inside the coffee shop it was a full on Gilmore Girls scene, packed to the gills with people studying, hanging out, and chatting with friends. They have a full menu of fresh food at very affordable prices, including house-made bagels, and of course they roast their coffee daily! We enjoyed our visit and can’t wait to return!
