Matthew Hassing: The Unexpected Patterns of Nature

Step into a world where whimsy and wilderness meet- Matthew Hassing’s solo exhibition presents a fresh, joyous survey of paintings that move between intimate landscapes and energetic patterned panels. This exhibition highlights Hassing’s distinctive voice: a painted balance of calm observation and playful invention.

This show invites visitors to linger and to notice the small marks that make up a leaf, the rhythmic repetition that animates a school of fish, and the compositional choices that link the intimate with the exuberant.

Join us this Friday, August 21st to celebrate this stunning exploration and recreation of the natural world around us.
