It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our previous owner, Michael Place.
In 1984, Mike purchased Western Nut Company with a vision, a strong work ethic, and a love for serving others. What began as a small storefront grew into a beloved Utah tradition, thanks to his dedication, generosity, and commitment to quality. Beyond Western Nut, Mike devoted countless hours to giving back through Rotary and supporting charities throughout our community. We are deeply grateful for the legacy he leaves behind and for the many customers, friends, and employees who have been part of his journey over the past 40+ years.
