I found this heirloom quilt at a living estate sale where I was able to speak to the original owner. Her mother made this in the 70’s and she just kept it folded in a cedar chest. You’d think it’s new. The fabric is still crisp, never been washed. It’s prestine with a few uncut threads on the stitching. (And I do see a couple of tiny marks in one area) The ruffled edges is amazing. The colors and florals is just incredible. A one of a kind piece.

S O L D// It’s not often you come across a vintage piece that is in perfect condition. This is proof that care and storage does matter. I found this 1967 WOOL letterman sweater at an estate sale and was told it was kept in a cedar chest. I shared it in my stories and a customer with the name Kay had to have it! Meant to be. What a treasure. It needed a permanent place on my feed.
