Turiya's Turiya is an ancient Sanskrit word that means “the fourth way.” Turiya signifies pure consciousness, coming to rest in a peaceful, blissful state.

A definition we have found and love is “the voice that calls us home.” Turiya's is an inspirational gift shop located in the Sugarhouse neighborhood of Salt Lake City. We offer meaningful gifts and products that uplift the spirit, teach and train or simply celebrate life's occasions. People come to rest and restore in the tranquil surroundings. Many come to work with Healer/Teacher Kristen Dalzen.

Sacred Power of Gathering

Before there were temples,
there were circles.

Before there were sanctuaries,
there were fires.

Humans have always gathered.

Not merely for survival.

For meaning.

Around flames,
stories were shared.

Wisdom was passed.

Songs were remembered.

Grief was witnessed.

Joy was celebrated.

And something happened
when people sat together
with intention.

The burden became lighter.

The vision became clearer.

The individual
became part
of something larger.

Perhaps this is why
community remains sacred.

Not because everyone agrees.

Not because everyone is the same.

But because we remember
that we do not walk alone.

Healing happens in relationship.

Transformation happens in relationship.

Even awakening
is often sparked
by being seen.

As we move toward Solstice,
consider the circles
you are creating.

Who nourishes your spirit?

Who reminds you
of your own light
when you forget?

The ancients knew
that gathering was medicine.

Perhaps they were right.

And so, we continue the tradition.

This weekend, we have the privilege of gathering in a new way.

Our TRE event at the Gallery has sold out, and we are deeply grateful for the enthusiasm and support from this community.

And because gathering is meant to ripple outward, we invite you to join us immediately afterward for our very first Open House at Turiya’s Healing Arts.

Saturday, June 13th

🌿 Cerridwen’s Cauldron

Before there is illumination,
there is transformation.

Before there is becoming,
there is the vessel
that holds the becoming.

In Celtic tradition,
Cerridwen was keeper
of the sacred cauldron.

A vessel of wisdom.

Of inspiration.

Of rebirth.

The cauldron was never simply a container.

It was a symbol
of transformation itself.

A sacred womb.

The place where what was
is dissolved—

and what will be
begins to take form.

We often celebrate the bloom.

The revelation.

The breakthrough.

But nature teaches
a different truth.

Everything beautiful
spends time in the unseen.

The seed beneath the soil.

The butterfly within the chrysalis.

The dream gathering strength
before it enters the world.

As we move toward the Summer Solstice,
a season of fullness and light,
Cerridwen reminds us
that illumination begins
in mystery.

In patience.

In trust.

What within you
is still brewing?

What wisdom
is slowly taking shape?

What future self
is waiting to emerge
from the sacred vessel
of this moment?

Not everything needs
to be rushed into the light.

Some things are still
gathering their magic.

🌿 Trust the cauldron.
Trust the process.
Trust what is becoming.

Ritual Is Remembering

There is a reason
certain actions
feel older than memory.

The lighting of a candle.

The gathering of stones.

The quiet moment
before prayer,
before intention,
before beginning.

Long before spirituality
became something discussed—

it was something practiced.

The ancients understood
that ritual was not about worshipping something outside themselves.

It was about relationship.

Relationship with the earth.

With the seasons.

With the moon.

With the unseen forces
moving through daily life.

A ritual does not need
to be elaborate.

It can be a single breath
taken with awareness.

A hand placed upon the heart.

A crystal carried intentionally.

A moment spent watching
the morning sun rise.

What matters
is not the action.

It is the presence.

Because ritual teaches us
something modern life often forgets:

The sacred is not somewhere else.

It is here.

Waiting to be noticed.

Waiting to be remembered.

And perhaps that is what ritual truly is—

not creating magic.

But recognizing
that it was already present.

What sacred practice
is asking to return
to your life?

✨ Turiya’s Gallery is a space for ritual, remembrance, and connection.
Stay close. More gatherings are coming.

06/01/2026

There were once places
built for remembering.

Stone temples.

Sacred groves.

Circles gathered around fire.

Places where people stepped away
from ordinary life
and entered something deeper.

Not to escape the world—

but to reconnect with it.

The modern world
moves quickly.

It rewards distraction.

It teaches us
to consume more
and feel less.

And yet the soul
still longs
for sanctuary.

For beauty.

For meaning.

For places
where it can exhale.

Perhaps that is why sacred spaces
continue to matter.

Not because they hold
something you are missing.

But because they help you remember
what has always been there.

Your wisdom.

Your intuition.

Your connection.

Your belonging.

The Gallery was created
with that spirit in mind.

A place to slow down.

To explore.

To reconnect with the sacred
through ritual,
community,
crystals,
conversation,
and curiosity.

A modern temple.

Not of worship.

But of remembrance.

What kind of spaces
help you feel
most connected to yourself?

Not everything true
is immediately visible.

Some things reveal themselves
in flashes—
subtle at first,
then undeniable.

Labradorite is born
through fire and pressure—
a feldspar mineral formed
deep within the earth.

Its iridescence—
that shifting blue, gold, green—
comes from layers within the stone
bending light.

Nothing added.
Nothing placed on top.

Its brilliance
is structural.

A reminder—
that what you carry
may not always be seen at the surface…
but it is there.

Waiting
for the right angle
to reveal itself.

In Inuit tradition,
it is said that the Northern Lights
were once trapped within stone—
and Labradorite
was formed when they were released.

Light breaking through matter.

The unseen
made visible.

Across spiritual practices,
this stone has been associated
with intuition—
with the inner eye,
with perception beyond logic.

Often linked to the energy
of Hecate—
guardian of thresholds,
of crossroads,
of what exists between worlds.

She does not give answers.

She teaches you
how to see.

Labradorite works in this way.

Not by telling you what is true—
but by strengthening
your ability to recognize it.

To trust
what you feel
before it becomes explainable.

Because there is a kind of intelligence
that does not come from thinking.

It comes from attunement.

From presence.
From allowing yourself
to perceive
what is already there.

What if your intuition
is not something to develop—
but something to remember
how to trust?

Memorial Day is a day of remembrance.

For those who gave their lives.
For the freedoms protected through sacrifice.
For the generations entrusted to carry those freedoms forward.

And remembrance matters—
because what is protected
can also be lost.

There was a time
when the sacred
had many voices.

Women as priestesses.
As healers.
As keepers of ritual,
of land,
of life itself.

Much of that was not lost—
it was removed.

Rewritten.
Silenced.
Feared.

And still—
the pattern continues.

Across the world,
women are still fighting
for rights that should never
have been negotiable.

To speak.
To choose.
To learn.
To lead.

In many places, including here,
voices are restricted.
Bodies controlled.
Presence diminished.

And even where rights exist—
they are not always protected.

The systems that hold them
can shift.
Be challenged.
Be weakened.

This is not history.

This is now.

And this is why
the remembering matters.

Not only honoring those
who sacrificed for freedom—
but understanding
that freedom itself
requires participation.
Protection.
Presence.

Because the feminine
is not just softness.

It is wisdom.
Discernment.
Creation.
And protection of life.

To embody it fully
is to refuse
disconnection.

From yourself.
From others.
From what is happening
in the world around you.

We do not turn away.

We stand—
for ourselves,
for each other,
for women,
and for all those
still fighting
for freedoms
others take for granted.

And we use our voices
while we still can.

What you carry
is not only yours.

It is part of something
much older.

And it is asking
to be lived—
now.

There have always been women
who did not turn away.

Not from truth.
Not from power.
Not from what was asked of them.

They stood at the thresholds—
between worlds,
between life and death,
between what was
and what needed to become.

In ancient lands,
women were not only nurturers—

They were warriors.
Seers.
Protectors of the sacred.

The Valkyries
rode between realms—
choosing who would rise
and who would fall—
not as destroyers,
but as keepers of destiny.

Sekhmet
moved as both healer and force—
a lioness who knew
when to protect
and when to burn through
what no longer belonged.

And in Celtic tradition,
The Morrígan
walked the battlefield—
not separate from chaos,
but deeply aware within it—
a guardian of sovereignty,
of truth,
of fate.

These were not women
who waited to be permitted.

They were initiated
through experience.

Through loss.
Through devotion.
Through choosing
to remain present
when it would have been easier
to disappear.

This lineage
is not lost.

It lives in the body.

In the instinct
to protect what matters.
To speak when something is not right.
To stand
even when your voice trembles.

This is not about war.

It is about sovereignty.

The kind that does not collapse
under pressure—
because it is rooted
in something deeper
than fear.

Where in your life
are you being asked
to stand
in that kind of strength?
