For many years, Sky Straw has been a cornerstone of our team at Quantum Lighting, serving as a Principal and one of the most trusted experts in lighting control. Sky has spent his career supporting others with his deep knowledge, whether it was complex integrations or the smallest programming details. In situations where he didn’t already have the answer you could always count on Sky to figure it out.
On February 10th Sky suffered a very serious brain bleed with subsequent complications. He has undergone several medical procedures to try and relieve pressure on his brain but has not yet regained consciousness. His medical care team continues to monitor his progress but currently there is an unknown outcome.
Sky’s wife Sydney, his daughters Harley and Matea, and a wide circle of family, friends, and industry peers are standing strong in support of him.
Hospital stays, ongoing treatment, and recovery costs are adding up quickly. During this difficult time, Sky’s family is focused on being by his side, supporting his healing, and navigating the uncertainty that comes with such a crisis. Quantum is raising funds to help ease the financial burden on the family.
