❓What does banning a book mean in Utah?
In Utah, a book is banned when at least three school districts, or two districts and five charter schools, determine it contains “sensitive material.” This means the book must be removed from all public school libraries and curriculums within the state.
“Banning books gives us silence, when we need speech.” - Stephen Chbosky
