Often I get asked “do you ever mess up? What happens if you mess up?”

Yesterday we did a great number of kids handprint plates for Father’s Day. I completed this plate before I realized I painted these hand monsters upside down, the opposite of the words 🙃🤦‍♀️

Luckily, this plate was for a longtime customer and friend Leslee Gregory Wilbanks and she said “it’s ok, we live our life upside down anyway” She laughed and was so nice about this mistake.

So yes, we as artist make mistakes. No they’re not always fixable. Sometimes customers are hateful and other times they’re understanding as Leslee was!
I am so mad at myself for this mistake but maybe it’ll bring laughter to your day! Have a great week, friends! Here’s your note to know mistakes happen and it’s ok to live your life upside down at times!

Yall, Bear with me! I’m running on caffeine and eye patches!

I’m working on closing out 3 goose parties with bookings, wait list, and payments. I’m also working on organizing and collecting payments for Father’s Day plates. Invoices, spread sheets, reading comments, collecting and updating payments.. it’s all time consuming.

I’m trying my best to keep these things in order for fairness, organized, and what will work best for you and me both! I appreciate your patience with me! I’ve been so blessed to have this much support with these two art ideas of mine!
