Last summer I bought 3000 ladybugs 🐞 I heard they eat the aphids in your pecan trees, the lovely Aphids that turn everything in your yard into a popsicle or it feels like it anyway, well, the ladybugs worked, so from then on my husband has called me ladybug, I think we were both tickled it worked and a little surprised…..he painted this rock which I put in this little shadowbox and then this weekend at Market Square in San Antonio. We found this little bobblehead ladybug, and he bought it for me.🐞❤️
And it’s September and my car is not covered in a sticky mess so it must still be working!!! Yay for the ladybugs 🐞

Went to the sweetest baby shower this weekend where we got to make our own flower bouquets and bring them home, at first I put all of them together in a old pitcher then I thought I’ve got all those castor sets they make the cutest vases, I have 4, which is probably 3 too many but only because they never made it to Violet Rose, one of the many perks of estate saling over the years 💜💜
I did buy one that had no jars and they’re hard to find, I think I paid $1. For that one…..which was too good a deal to pass up Sheri Hiller Norton

Well I officially finished the den, I thought I was done already but every time I would see that ottoman online I would think I need that, Ill just use it as extra seating and I really needed an extra chair didn’t know I was going to have to put it together from scratch…..the hubby may have to redo the ottoman feet but it works for now💜
Honestly the stack of books in all the colors in the room really got the wheels turning,
I walked into goodwill in Galveston and they were wrapped already….meant to be

Well I’ve been a busy girl this week, this is the garden off the bunkhouse, I call it the fairy garden, I still have the garden on the side but that’s for another day, I found the chairs this week and I love them…. I have a bit of a rust theme going on, they fit perfect with my favorite vintage rocker/recliner that has many layers of oil cloth 💜
