⚖️😂 When you come in for acne treatment, you might think I’m just going to look at your skin, but I’m over here conducting a full investigation. 🔎
“Let’s talk about your skincare routine.”
“What products are you using?”
“How often are you cleansing?”
“Are you picking or touching your face?” 👀
“How’s your stress?”
“How much are you sleeping?”
“Any recent changes in hormones or medications?”
“And what does your diet look like?”
Because acne isn’t always as simple as “just use this product.” So many factors can influence your skin and how it responds to treatment.
✨ Skincare products can clog pores or irritate the skin barrier.
✨ Hormonal changes can increase oil production and contribute to breakouts.
✨ Stress and sleep can affect inflammatory pathways and your skin’s ability to recover.
✨ Picking and touching can worsen inflammation and increase the risk of post-inflammatory marks.
✨ Diet and lifestyle factors may play a role for some people.
✨ Medications and underlying factors can sometimes contribute to acne or change how we approach treatment.
So yes… I’m going to ask A LOT of questions. 😂
Not because I’m nosy.
Because I’m trying to connect the dots.
The goal isn’t just to treat the breakout in front of me, it’s to understand your skin, identify potential triggers, and create a treatment plan that makes sense for YOU.
👩⚖️ Judge’s ruling: We’re getting to the root of it. Case closed. Glow pending. ✨
