Why do we celebrate Martin Luther King Day?

I had to google this because I already finished college before coming to the states and so I’m still learning the history here. 😅

But I like this quote of him because it reminds me of whatever I’m going through that I always need to keep moving forward. We don’t have to run all the time coz let’s be honest we don’t always have that energy to run. There may be days that you just want to walk and that’s okay.

Always forward, never backwards ☺️

(This reminds me of the motto of my battalion when I was in basic training— Always Forward!)
