🖤Jolene's Corner🖤

We continue with our series on Jolene our 1942 Cadillac Hears. Jolene was built in a very transitional period. The automotive industry in the U.S began moving to building tanks, bombs and other war time supplies just after she was built. Jolene's interior features elements of the regular series 62 Cadillac cars but instead of luxury in mind it was more geared to utilitarian purposes, no radio, central pod style speedometer and clock. Can you imagine who may have drove her when she was new ? Stay tuned for more posts about Jolene 💀💀.

🪦 A Minute with the Mortician 🪦

March 5, 1953 revolutionary and General Secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union from 1922 to 1952 Jospeh Stalin dies, a grand state funeral is held in the U.S.S.R. Stalin's embalmed body is then placed inside Vladimir Lenins mausoleum on Red Square the two men that did not get along in life got to share a space in death. Stalin was eventually removed from the mausoleum during de - Stalinization in 1961 and was buried near the Kremlin wall. Follow us for more A Minute with the Mortician 💀.

🖤Jolene's Corner 🖤

This amazing Cadillac emblem graces the front end of Jolene for over 84 years it has proclaimed her a Cadillac. Cadillac is know for its luxury and quality this emblem has changed over the years this particular emblem is the Pre - War version this emblem was used up to the 1942 year model. When Cadillac returned to manufacturing cars in 1946 the emblem had slightly evolved and the evolution continued. To learn more about Jolene follow us on Facebook or Instagram 🪦.
