IM BOTH /// a Palestinian + a Woodworker — A Palestinian woodworker!

I am a Palestinian before I was ever a woodworker, or anything else for that matter! It’s who I am. It may not be clear through my work, but everything I do is for that.. and through that.
It’s been hard getting into my shop and making things, it’s been hard doing the thing I love the most, the thing that started as a coping mechanism yet can’t help me cope with everything my home is going through right now. I don’t share this for selfish reasons, I share this because I feel guilty every time I want to get back to my “things”..
but if Palestine 🇵🇸 has taught me ANYTHING, it’s perseverance, resilience and resistance. We can’t stop, we can’t lose hope, and we can’t give up!
