Look at theses Baby Blues! 🥹
Many animals like this kitten, are born with blue eyes due to a lack of melanin. The blue color is caused by light refraction. Over time, this kitten's eyes may change to green, yellow, brown or remain blue. You'll notice the change starting around seven weeks of age. Final eye color is determined by genetics and the maturation of the eye pigment. By 12 weeks you will see the final result, although a few cats may continue to show slight variations until they are a year old. 😽
